THESE ARE THE MOST COMPELLING WILDLIFE PHOTOS OF THE YEAR

The winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year (WPOTY) awards 2017 have been announced. The competition is organized by the Natural History Museum.
The following photos were chosen from 50,000 entries submitted from across 92 different countries.
Taken as part of an undercover investigation into the illegal trade in rhino horn, Brent’s winning image tells the evocative story of one of the trade’s latest victims – a black rhino bull from South Africa’s Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park.
After a three-hour trek through the forest of Odzala-Kokoua National Park, Daniël finally caught up with a family of gorillas./dailyaccord
